  1. What if it's your turn?

What if you get infected by the Corona Virus?

If you get infected it's mandatory to minimize the risk of infecting others and you have to do it in several different ways, in a pandemic scenario, as our present scenario, MOST OF THESE CAUTIONS CAN AND SHOULD BE DONE WHEN YOU ARE NOT INFECTED:

    HANDS

Wash frequently and disinfect, whenever possible, your hands. Avoid touching your face with your hands, this is particularly difficult as you generally do it very often during the day, with out even noticing it.

Avoid sneezing or coughing directly in your hands.

    SMART PHONES & COMPUTERS

Smart phones are ubiquitous in our lives. They are also an important source of dirt.

They will be one of the most "infected" surfaces, I would say even more than your hands, be aware that you constantly speak and touch your phone, exactly the hand to mouth contact you should be avoiding, not to talk about the way you share it with friends.

    COUGHING & SNEEZING

Don't do it in your hands, as it will be the acquired tendency to do it. Do it to your elbows or shoulders.

Cover your coughs and sneezes with your own sleeve or some other tissue.

    2 METER DISTANCE WHY?

Even on coughing or sneezing the droplets will fall down, not reaching the person near you, if they are 1 meter apart, 1 extra meter will give you a lee-way.

    PUBLIC AREAS

Avoid any public areas such as schools, your workplace, mobs, restaurants, bars, specially places where people have to stand close to each other.

    MASKS

Wear a face mask whenever you need to be around other people (at

home or when visiting your healthcare provider).

For some extra precaution, have your family members wear a face mask when they are around you.

Be sure to throw the used masks or tissues in a closed bin, and then, and always wash your hands afterward with soap and water, whenever possible disinfect them.

    LEAVING YOUR HOUSE

Don’t leave your house unless you are in need of medical care.

IF YOU REALLY HAVE TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL

Don’t use any kind of public transportation to get there.

IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE INFECTED, THERE ARE A COUPLE MORE VERY DIFFICULT ACTIONS YOU MUST IMPLEMENT:

Try to isolate yourself from family members that live in your household. Maintain a safe distance of about 2 meters when interacting with them and if possible use a different bathroom.

This time sharing definitely is not caring so: don’t share items with your family members such as forks, spoons, knives, dishes, glasses, towels and all sort of clothes.

Washing or disinfecting everything you use with soap and water or alcoholic solutions.

Also, keep an eye on your phone or smart devices, and keep them to yourself, specially if you have kids, everyone knows how kids tend to use their parents' devices.

Watch out for symptoms and signs!

If your symptoms suddenly get worse (increased breathing difficulty and strong fever are the main indicators of a possible aggravation), call your healthcare provider and let them know your situation.
