    Delving into tougher terrain

     

     

    Understanding tougher terrain: obstacles & variable snow.

     

    Variable snow:

    Punchy snow

    Icy slopes

    Windblown powder

    Bumps and dips

     

    Loosing confidence and go to the back seat is the most common error, try to keep the normal flow.

    There's not that much a big of a difference when you compare it to normal ground.

    When you have bumps or moguls, the best place to start off (to start your turn) it's from the high point: you will have your ski tails and front tips free to ride, otherwise they'll be locked in the groove between the moguls.
